Blue Moon by Tess Thompson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This book was a joy to read! It is filled with characters who will capture and melt the reader's heart. Bliss is a recently fired executive with tons of money who collects an eclectic cast of downtrodden characters to take to Thanksgiving dinner at her sister's. Once there, she meets Ciaran, her sister's future brother-in-law, and their sizzling encounters are enough to make the Idaho snow melt! This is a great story filled with romance, a little mystery, and tons of inspiration!

Review of Amber Cowie's Rapid Falls
Rapid Falls by Amber Cowie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
A real page-turner about sisters dealing with the aftermath of a tragic accident that killed one's boyfriend on the night of the prom. As adults, Cara is the only one who will bail her sister, Anna, out of the trouble she finds herself in due to her drinking. Even though Anna went to prison and was responsible for killing Cara's boyfriend. As Anna begins to sober up and go through counseling, events unfold showing that the relationship between the sisters is not all that it seems. This book is chock full of twists and very entertaining!

Review of Susan Mallery's Why Not Tonight (Happily Inc, #3)
Why Not Tonight by Susan Mallery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Romance blooms between a sassy, quirky, and peppy young lady and her more conservative and uninspired boss when they are holed up together during a disastrous storm. Mallery's characters are unique and this was a wonderful story of finding the desires of one's heart.

Review of Bittersweet Brooklyn by Thelma Adams
Bittersweet Brooklyn: A Novel by Thelma Adams
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Author Thelma Adams does a superb job of placing the reader into old Brooklyn, during a time that mobsters ran the city. Thelma is down on her luck. She finds herself embroiled in the drama of a mob hit, literally cleaning up the mess. She usually leans on her brother, but he cannot help her now. Now that she knows too much. This is a great story that transports the reader into the setting. Fans of Fanny Newcomb and the Irish Channel Ripper will enjoy this one!
