I've never read an A.J. Banner book I didn't love, and this one is no exception! Banner is the queen of the unreliable narrator protagonist and keeps the reader on her toes throughout this book. The characters are unique and richly created. The setting takes on a life of its own. I loved this book!

This was a great romantic comedy! I enjoyed learning about the Brazilian culture through this book about a jilted bride that is reunited with her ex and his brother (her worst enemy) through a contest for a job. The author has great comedic timing and the reader won't be disappointed.

Just when I thought it couldn't get better than The Friend Zone, Abby Jimenez continues to amaze me! I adore the protagonist, Sloane, from this book, and I enjoyed seeing her get the ending she deserved. Jimenez's characters will make you laugh out loud. They are quirky, yet so realistic that they reminded me of people I know. I truly loved this book!
